With a 16 acre campus, there is plenty to do at Vedatya.
The student-led activities include a cultural fair, BBQ night for the hostelers, internal sports leagues, a women’s only sports competition, holi celebration, and a multitude of other events throughout the year.
If sports is your passion, the campus has tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, a soccer field and a professionally laid cricket pitch. We also double up the tennis court as a futsal field.
And if you are more of a nature loving type, then the campus has over 800 trees of various kinds, a bodhi tree within a labyrinth structure, multiple fruit trees, vegetable farms, a fish pond, a herb garden and a patch of mango trees.
If you fancy art, then we have a wall of evolving knowledge, an umbrella installation on tree, multiple art walls and many other art installations. And you don’t have to leave the campus at the end of the day because we have air-conditioned hostels for both boys & girls and a student cafeteria that serves healthy meals three times a week with a special Sunday brunch.

Vedatya’s self-sustainable “Green Campus” offers well-equipped residential AC & Non-AC facilities for both boys & girls. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-light.
Students have round-the-clock access to additional facilities like the medical clinic, a provision store, recreational room, indoor games, TV room, etc. in the hostel.

Budding Chef Competition
The Budding Chef Competition theme is “Garden Gourmet”. The focus of the competition is on refinement, plating aesthetics, and showcasing the luxury potential of plants in high-end cooking; no animal products allowed, therefore, participants must create elegant, restaurant-worthy plant-based dishes that highlight seasonal vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and other garden-fresh ingredients.
Ingredient Rules:
Core ingredients must be garden-sourced or seasonal.
Use of luxury plant-based elements encouraged (e.g., exotic mushrooms, heirloom produce, edible flowers, artisanal plant-based cheeses, microgreens, etc.).
All dishes must be 100% plant-based: no meat, dairy, eggs, gelatine, or honey.

The Chef Competition finds an interesting setting at Vedatya, enabling participants to simultaneously engage and learn as they showcase their talent. It is indeed a fantastic opportunity for all the students to demonstrate their skills, creativity, and passion for a potential culinary / hospitality pathway.
Participants will compete in teams of two each, and the participants need to bring ingredients on their own; however, basic ingredients will be provided by the institute if required.
“Ad-Mad Show” – Where Creativity Meets Madness
AD MAD SHOW is an ‘Advertisement Making Competition’ where School students showcase their creativity in marketing products and services. Its objective is to acquaint the students with promotional strategies in marketing through advertisements. It consists of humorous, conceptual ad presentations by the students.
Students will prepare and act out advertisement scripts and ideas relevant for different sectors, including FMCG products, services, automobiles, culture, heritage, and social awareness, etc. All the teams will be given a time frame to showcase their talent. The students would be required to be in a team of 2 to 4.
Each team will get a ‘client brief’ in real time through a draw of lots and will need to develop an advertising pitch real time.
Pitch your dream Hospitality start-up idea
The participants will need to build a basic business plan around a dream venture focused on a hospitality product/service. The plan will be expected to demonstrate feasibility and include aspects of marketing strategies, and financial forecasting for profitability. This competition is a group-based activity with a minimum of 2 to a maximum 4 participants per team. The pitch will be judged by industry experts/entrepreneurs.
The competition will have 2 stages.
Stage 1: This will be an elimination round. The teams will be given a window of 5 minutes in which they have to pitch their hospitality startup idea. Those teams that are selected will go through the next stage. This is what contestants will come prepared with, ready to present. Stage 2: Top 10 teams will make it to this final round. The teams will have an hour to use feedback given in the 1st round to quickly revise, adapt their pitch and get ready for a final showdown. The timings for the presentation in the final round will be a 7-minute window and there will be a 3-minute question answer session.
Be an ‘Influencer’ – make Reels that are the Real Deal
The competition invites students to showcase their creativity and storytelling skills through digital media. A team of two Participants will create engaging reels in real time that capture service moments or Muqabla event-related content around the campus. The digital content should have a message that the contesting teams want to share. These reels will be shared on Instagram, and the winning team will be determined based on the quality of their content and the engagement it receives, including likes and shares. Students will participate in teams of two and be given 2 hours to make and edit their reel and 10 minutes for the presentation.

The learners will compete individually or in teams in their chosen competition.
No restrictions on materials that are deployed. No resources will be made available by Vedatya. Participants are expected to bring their own materials.
The competition will require participants to develop/demonstrate their contribution in real-time.
Performance will be rated by experts. Exciting awards will be given to the winning team, each participant will also receive an e-certificate of participation from Vedatya.
