Gayatri Peshawaria is the chef and founder of Gayatri’s Gourmet. Her food philosophy is rooted in fresh, seasonal, natural produce and cooking with love! An alumni of St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, Gayatri has worked as a food and wine journalist for UpperCrust,
India’s first food magazine. She has worked with Nik Bakers, Chandigarh. She has also studied organic farming at Everything Organic Nursery, Nepal. She is a trained barista from Himalayan Java, Nepal. She’s also worked on Michelin Star chef, Vikas Khanna’s book, Amritsar: Flavours of the Golden City. With a passion for fresh food, Gayatri started Gayatri’s Gourmet in 2014 with wedding and corporate giveaways. Later, the company also ventured into catering. Gayatri now runs a farm to fork food education programme called MasterClass and Kitchen Garden in some of the top schools of Amritsar with successful results.
