Competition Brief

To design the exteriors of the food truck on campus to make it attractive and functionally more interesting. The food truck is made from a 20ft X 8ft X 8ft shipping container and is already equipped with a kitchen, service window, and entry doors. A rooftop seating area is currently being added.

The proposed design can include (but not restricted to) the following:

• Painted murals on the surfaces of the container, depicting one of the given themes.
• 3D relief designs in certain container wall areas add visual interest.
• Functional additions such as ladders, climbing hooks, lighting, etc can be used.
• Interesting sculptural features/installations that can enhance the selected theme.
• Rooftop features such as temporary cover, viewing deck, etc.

Submission requirements

• A4 Size sketches depicting at least 3 different views of the concepts (submitted digitally).
• 4-5 slide presentation that explains the concept and theme.

• Ease of implementation.

Award

All participating entries will be given a certificate from Vedatya. The winning entry will be allowed to participate in the making/implementing of the idea as an internship at Vedatya, under the guidance of the faculty.
