In this review article, the author deliberates on a series of strategic alliance (SA) concepts to outline a holistic perspective of SAs for Indian alliance managers. The author uncovers this analysis, by conducting an extensive review of extant literature on SA. Thus, the author provides an integrated view on SA right from conceptualization to execution, fine-tuned for the Indian context. This article thus contributes towards an integrated SA perspective theoretically. Further, this contribution would help Indian SA managers to undertake better strategy planning and execution as a practice in the area of strategic alliances.
